Retrospective Festival returns with a huge line-up of 80s and 90s stars
Get ready to step back in time as Retrospective Festival returns to Sherdley Park in St Helens for a night packed with some of the biggest pop hits of the 80s and 90s.
The one-night celebration of classic pop is back for its second year on Friday, September 11, bringing together legendary singers, DJs and live performers for an evening of nostalgia, feel-good anthems and plenty of reasons to get up and dance. Billed as the perfect warm-up for the following day's Reminisce Festival, Retrospective promises a full-colour pop extravaganza featuring some seriously recognisable names.
Leading the line-up are Boyzlife, featuring Keith Duffy from Boyzone and Brian McFadden from Westlife, who will perform some of the biggest hits from both hugely successful boybands.
Also taking to the stage will be The Fizz, featuring original Bucks Fizz members Cheryl Baker and Jay Aston. Expect plenty of nostalgia as the Eurovision winners perform some of the group's best-loved hits.

T'Pau frontwoman Carol Decker will bring her unmistakable vocals to the stage, performing the band's iconic hit China in Your Hand, while Sybil will deliver her much-loved dance and pop classics. Girls Aloud fans are also in for a treat, with Nadine Coyle performing some of the group's biggest hits, while Heather Small will take audiences through a selection of her solo material and classic M People anthems.
And the party doesn't stop when the live performances finish. Pete Waterman will host the evening, while former Fun House presenter Pat Sharp will bring his DJ set to Sherdley Park. Dancefloor favourite Rozalla will also be performing, giving fans the chance to sing along to the iconic Everybody's Free (To Feel Good).
Adding something extra special to the evening, the Reminisce Classical Orchestra will perform high-energy string versions of classic club tracks, bringing a fresh twist to some of the songs that defined the dancefloor. The Woodland will also feature Reminisce favourites, resident DJs and performances from Jon Pleased Wimmin, creating an additional space for festival-goers to keep the party going.
Retrospective is being presented by the organisers of Reminisce Festival and is designed to kick off what promises to be a huge retro weekend in St Helens.

The following day, Reminisce Festival will take over Sherdley Park for 12 hours of 90s dance anthems, making Retrospective the perfect option for anyone who simply can't get enough of their favourite throwback tunes.
Whether you grew up listening to Boyzone and Westlife, spent your teenage years dancing to M People and Rozalla or simply love an old-school pop anthem, Retrospective looks set to be a nostalgic night to remember.
In Demand Radio will once again be the official radio partner, with exclusive content from artists and DJs appearing across the event.
Retrospective Festival takes place at Sherdley Park, St Helens, on Friday, September 11, 2026. Standard ticket price £45 with Blue Light Discounts Available.
